Dr. Jason Collins lives in Louisiana, where he continues his life’s work as a physician, researcher, and advocate for the unborn child. Over his 30 plus year obstetrical career, Dr. Collins has remained deeply committed to understanding and protecting life in the womb. He founded The Pregnancy Institute, where his work focuses on studying normal pregnancies to better understand why stillbirths occur, particularly in cases with no apparent cause.
Through decades of research, Dr. Collins has followed more than a thousand pregnancies, gathering critical data that has shed light on the role of umbilical cord and placental complications. His findings emphasize the need for earlier identification and improved management of these conditions to better protect the unborn child.
Dr. Collins is widely recognized as a leading expert on umbilical cord accidents. His research suggests that cord-related issues, including even simple compressions, may account for a significant number of stillbirths often classified as "indeterminable."
