Volunteer
GET INVOLVED
Missing GRACE Foundation is a volunteer-driven organization. Opportunities exist at our MGF Resource Center in St. Michael, MN, as well as from home or within your community.
The MGF Resource Center Team assists by answering phones, assembling and fulfilling orders for GRACE Care Packages, helping with administrative work and providing a listening ear, support and resources for the people who drop in to the Center. If you serve in this role, your tender care, compassion, support, presence, availability, and readiness to help a person experiencing a painful time after the loss of a baby, infant, or young child or who is going through infertility or adoption challenges... makes all the difference. You can help people feel comforted, empowered and filled with hope anew.
Professionals are welcome to share their expertise in counseling or teaching classes to benefit our clients. (Counselors must be licensed and appointments will be scheduled and held at the MFG Resource Center).
Volunteers may also lend their support as GRACE Chapter Leaders within their community, serving as a beacon of light to support and serve grieving, infertile and adoptive families or as GRACE Support Group Team Leaders and/or Facilitators, either in-person or online.
Additionally, Missing GRACE relies upon volunteers who lend a hand with their valuable skills in sewing, knitting, crocheting baby items and jewelry making. There are many additional areas to get involved also... graphic design, grant writing, community outreach and so much more!
VOLUNTEER PROJECT DAY
1st Wednesday of Every Month | Noon - 3 PM
At the MGF Resource Center in Saint Michael, MN
Spend one afternoon each month connecting with others who share your passion to provide resources and support for families who are grieving, following a pregnancy loss, infant loss, infertility, or adoption challenges.
We’ll prepare GRACE Care Packages, organize resources, and complete miscellaneous tasks around the office. Or, if you’re a crafter, you can spend the afternoon creating items needed for the Care Packages. Bring your own supplies (yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, jewelry tools, etc.) or use what we have on hand to make items for the Care Packages. (Sewers will need to bring their own sewing machine.)
Obviously, we love children! However, our facility is limited in size, so please let us know (when you RSVP) if you are planning on bringing children.
Click here to RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Refreshments will be provided.
