HOPE & HEARTS RUN/WALK

The Hope & Hearts event has been a special day to Run, Walk and Give Families Hope! Through the event, we have acknowledged together the lives of those whom we miss and hold dear. We have honored the lives of babies and children who are in heaven, and we come together to heal as a community and to say these precious babies and children will never be forgotten.

The event has helped to raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss along with the funds needed for Missing GRACE Foundation to provide free services and support for grieving, infertile and adoptive families. Bereaved parents and their loved ones have created teams to tell their story and raise funds.

For 18 years, we have hosted the Hope & Hearts event in September, and then a few weeks later we have also hosted our Lantern Release event on October 15th which is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Over the years, your participation and support for our Hope & Hearts Run/Walk has been instrumental in the success of fulfilling our important mission. 

This year, we are simplifying to host one memorial event, forgoing the increasingly expensive overhead costs involved in putting on the Hope & Hearts event. We would like to ask for you to transition with us to become a donor, contributing to this Benefit Event for Missing GRACE Foundation on October 15th and to also join us with your family and friends in-person or virtually. This meaningful event is a tradition of our organization’s for over 10 years to provide a healing memorial night for grieving families from Minnesota and beyond. This is a very important day for families who have suffered the loss of a baby or infant. Lanterns will be decorated, candles will be lit, and each name said aloud for all the babies in heaven represented.

Hope & Hearts events have been held in Texas in memory of Payton, in New Mexico in memory of Blakey, in Kentucky in memory of Gracie, and in Ohio in memory of Annabelle.

STARTING A HOPE & HEARTS EVENT IN YOUR AREA

Would you like to create an event in honor of your baby that will help provide resources and support for families who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss, and fund programs that prevent further loss for others? We invite you to partner with Missing GRACE Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, to create a Hope & Hearts event in your area! Hope & Hearts is about hope for the future through education and research and supporting the hearts of families who have lost to move forward. Help make a difference and Run. Walk. Give Families Hope!

If you want to organize a fundraiser / memorial event, your baby’s name can be included in the title example: “Baby Rose’s Hope & Hearts Bike Across America.” Some great Hope & Hearts events to organize are sporting events like golf tournaments, marathons, duathlons and triathlons.
