Online Registration Form for Tender Heart Volunteers GRACE Tender Heart Volunteers play a key role in the Missing GRACE Foundation (MGF). Hundreds of calls and emails come through our office weekly. Many families need a person to lend an understanding ear or a helpful hand in the midst of a painful time in their life. Though MGF's headquarters is in Rogers, Minnesota, volunteers can help from anywhere in the world by simply making and mailing-in your handmade items that MGF includes in the GRACE Care Baskets: blankets, hats, outfits, bracelets and birthday/ memorial cards (examples and specific needs are provided). Volunteers are needed to facilitate online support groups and GRACE support group meetings. Facilitators are interviewed, references called and training is then provided for approved applicants. At the beautiful Center for G.R.A.C.E. in Rogers we have created a peaceful sanctuary where bereaved, infertile and adoptive families can find a safe place to openly grieve, restore, and receive education and support. Families, healthcare professionals and pastoral / faith leaders drop-in during Center hours to shop in the GRACE Gift Shop, to check out books from the Library, to let their kids play in the castle, to connect with others, to receive counseling and support and to enjoy use of the free wi-fi / complimentary coffee, tea and refreshments. Currently, MGF has a great need for Volunteers to work at the front Reception Desk at The Center to answer phones, process GRACE Care Basket orders, care for the people who drop-in, helping provide comfort and assisting them with their purchases, library book check-outs, and requested resources which are provided through MGF and its programs.
